The Northern Neck Networking Group extends a heartfelt thank you to Ann Gwynn, Operations Manager at the James Monroe Birthplace, for hosting such an incredible evening and providing us with a private tour of this remarkable historic site.

From the moment we arrived, Ann's passion for preserving and sharing Virginia's rich history was evident. We learned so much—not only while exploring the beautifully restored birthplace itself, but also while walking the historic grounds and hearing the fascinating stories that bring our nation's fifth president and our region's heritage to life.

There's something truly special about combining professional networking with an opportunity to learn about the history that surrounds us. The evening reminded us just how fortunate we are to live and work in the Northern Neck, where history is woven into the fabric of our communities.

Networking is about building relationships, and experiences like this create connections that go far beyond exchanging business cards. Sharing an evening filled with education, conversation, and appreciation for our local heritage made this gathering one to remember.

Thank you again, Ann, for your warm hospitality, your knowledge, and the time you spent making our visit so memorable. We are grateful for all you do to preserve this important piece of Virginia history and to share it with our community.

We encourage everyone to visit the James Monroe Birthplace and experience this local treasure for themselves. It's a wonderful reminder of the incredible history we have right here in Virginia.
